Feed the Ducks!

We were able to go visit our family down in Nashville for spring break! Even though it was still really cold, we all had a lot of fun as a family. We went to the Parthenon Ave. Cenennial Park in downtown Nashville.

Front entrace of the Parthenon Museum. This museum is the only full-size replica of the Parthenon (in Greece) in the world!

We also fed the ducks! The ducks loved the break that we gave them to eat. :) And the little girls wanted Pres to catch a duck so that they could pet it.

Palmer's Don't Quit!

We have become very good friends with the Palmer's! They are exactly like Pres and I: Jake loves to play the guitar, Laura loves modern family, and we all are extremely competitive!!! We all had so much fun together and now Jake and Laura left us for the summer to see their family in Utah. Jake and Laura are both students at Southern Virginia University and we can't wait until they get back so we can all play the wii and to to Jake and Pres playing the guitar!

SVU Idol

Every year Southern Virginia University hosts an event called SVU Idol. It is like American Idol with the same idea of auditioning to play in front of a croud at SVU Idol and judges with hilarious comments. This year, SVU Idol was great and like last year, Pres and his friend Tommy, played their electric guitars.

They played "Wagon Wheel" by Old Crow Medicine Show for auditions to make it to opening night of SVU Idol. On opening night, they play "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison.

Fun at the Crawford's

Here at the Crawford household we like to have a lot of fun! We play games, yell about sports, and take on random challenges.

One uneventful night, we had Tye and Staci over at our house and decided to have a leg wrestling contest...

Pres has a sweet tooth for Sour Patch Kids, and as it so happens, he found a huge bag that seems like a life time supply of sour patch kids. :)

Heaven!

We also made some Apple Cobbler compliments of the Amish Cupboard! It was delicious!

Yummmmm!

That's all Folks!

Mini Fridge

Some people in this house, that will remain nameless, have an addiction to .... something called ... a "MONSTER" & "RED BULL". The picture just doesn't do enough justince for the love that Pres and Tye have for Monster's. I will admit, I had some of the Red Bull's.

Here is our mini fridge that is full of water, coke and of course Monster and Red Bull.

Grant's Baptism!

Back around Thanksgiving of last year, Grant told Pres and I that he was thinking about getting baptized. With faithful prayer and studying the scriptures, Grant was able to find the confidence he needed and was baptitzed and became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints. We are so proud of his decision and couldn't be happier for him.

Pres and I planned on driving to Pittsburgh the day of Grant's baptism and that morning we left, I got sick unfortunately. :(  Pres was still able to go and said that Grant did great! We have loved watching him grow and we are happy for his decision.

Here is Pres and Grant after Grant got baptized. Grant is looking good in his new suit!

In all the pictures I have, either Pres of Grant have eyes closed or not smiling. Just can't win but they still look great!

Grant & his new wife, Laura! Cure little couple aren't they!

Congrats Grant and we know through diligent scripture study, daily prayers and by doing things that you know are right, that you will be brought happiness and joy in your life.

New Year =New House

With the new year of 2012, came a new and more spacious house for the Crawford Family! We were so fortunate to be able to move to a huge 2 story house and we love it! Pres has his own room for his guitars and our master bedroom is wonderful with a living room in itself. Moving is not our favorite thing to do but it was worth it in the end.

JuSt dAnCE!

We have recently been introduced to a game called "just dance" played on the wii. You can play this game for work-out or for pleasure. My girlfriend Ashley and I play this for work-out on the cold day's when we can't work-out outside.

Tye and his girlfriend Staci came over and played just dance with us at out house. We had so much fun and it helps make those people who can't actually dance, feel like they can. Like me! :)

Tye & Staci

You got it...Pres did NOT want to play. We couldn't do anything to convince him to play it with us so he just got on his computer and looked at car parts he wants.

Camera...ACTION!

Tye & Staci still couldn't convince Pres to play with us...lame! :) We will get him next time.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Christmas this year was spent  in Nashville Tennessee with our imidiate family. We are lucky to have family close enough to us to visit them for the holidays. Pres and I had to work the day before Christmas Eve and then drove after work to Nashville in order to spend time with our family.

Christmas Eve was great! We were able to be with our little neices, who are so adorable! We played games, baked some sweets and read the Christmas story.

Christmas day was fun to watch. Santa came and the little girls were so excited. Santa was very good to us and we are grateful for not just the things we got but truly for the things that God has blest us with.

Christmas morning...the girls are ready to go see what Santa brought.

Ready...set...go!

Santa brought bikes for all the girls and Uncle Pres and Chris took the girls and their bikes and went on a little ride.

Nana got some new slippers!

Uncle Pres and Uncle Tye got a cute grinch t-shirt.
Twins!

We went to church Christmas morning and the girls go tot wear their special Christmas dresses.

Ready to ride

Later on Christmas day, we made gingerbread houses had our Aunt Jessica, Uncle Cal and nephews Canon and JJ judge the houses. They weren't able to spend Christmas with us but we were able to skype so we could see and talk to them.

Christmas is not about the things we get but about the things God lets us enjoy. May we always remember the true meaning of Christmas!

Love,
The Crawford's
