Camp Virginia Relaxation

Welcome to Camp Virginia located in Goshen, VA!

Pres has been attending this camp for the last 14 years. He stared as a camper and then to camp counselor. This weekend I took Tye to see Camp VA.

Tye & I played Tennis against some campers. Tye challenged them and "unleashed the beast". We did win the game of course but the 2 campers had a great spirit and put up a mean fight. 

Pres & Tye played basketball with some of the campers also and they lowered the net so everyone was able to dunk. Everyone had a lot of fun and Pres and Tye thought they were pretty cool because they could dunk.

After we were in the heat, we cooled off in the river. That day it was about 100 degrees, cooler than most days. Tye was scared that the fish were going to bite him, so he hopped in one of the little rafts.

Watch out..the fish might bite! :)

The baseball game was the best! We all played catch while we watched it and Tye would get mad at me because my aim was a little off that day...

Being with Pres at Camp Virginia for the day was fun. We all got some sun, played sports, and enjoyed being with all the kids.

4th of July in Goshen Virginia

CAMP VIRGINIA

For the last 14 years Pres has been attending and working the summers at Camp Virginia. He starting going as a camper and has been a camp counselor since High School. Every summer he stays in Goshen, Virginia and works for 7 weeks of the summer there. This year was our first 4th of July together and I got to go stay in Goshen for the 4th with Pres at camp!

We had to be patriotic, so we got this sweet flag. Go big or go home!

This is the Camp Virginia counselor basketball game. All the camp counselor's get together and play an intense basketball game as a 4th of July tradition. This game gets a little competitive. Pres had 2 points and his team won! Good job black team!

After the game, it poored! We all had to run to our cabins and wait for the rain to stop. It rained for a good 3 hours so we weren't able to have fireworks that evening because it was so wet.
