Happy 1st Anniversary!

A year ago Saturday, December 17th 2010, Pres and I were getting married! We can't believe is has already been a year...it went by so fast! Pres planned out our whole day as a surprise for our anniversary and for the last month I have been trying to find out what he planned.

Pres took me out to eat at one of the nicest places in Lexington, VA and got me beautiful flowers! Dinner was AWESOME! We ate at a little restaurant called Cafe' Micheal. It is only open for dinner and the owner is the cook. He cooks the best food around!

Happy Anniversary!

Thanksgiving in Chicago

This Thanksgiving we were blessed to see our family in Chicago. Surprisingly, it was not as cold as it usually is this time in Chicago and the forecast was nice to use. We had so much fun with our family and we missed then dearly!

Each year in Lake Forest (Chicago Suburbs) there is a "Christmas Lighting" where the whole town gets together to have hot chocolate and sing Christmas carols. After which, they light the Lake Forest Christmas tree which is a symbol to everyone living in the area that it it now ok to officially turn on Christmas lights in the community.

This is Grant (Pres' brother) and the newest addition to our family, Grant wife Laura. They are newly weds. We are glad they could come to Chicago and spend Thanksgiving with all of us!
